Animal Species Troponin - Overview Press Release

BIODESIGN offers numerous monoclonal antibodies specific to the human cardiac isoform of Troponin I (cTnI). These antibodies have been characterized by Western blot for reactivity with Troponin I from different animal species. Depending on the antibody selected, they may recognize bovine, porcine, goat, canine, rabbit, cat, rat, mouse and fish antigens. These monoclonals may be useful for working with cTnI of non-human origin. Antibody pairs to detect cTnI antigen have been identified, as well as their epitope specificity.

Troponin antigens; Troponin complex, isolated cardiac and skeletal Troponin T, Troponin I and Troponin C from mouse, rat, canine, bovine and porcine animal species are also offered by BIODESIGN. All Troponin antigens are >95% pure as determined by SDS-PAGE.
