* QuantiTect Probe Master Mix is a premixed solution containing HotStarTaq DNA Polymerase, QuantiTect Probe RT-PCR Buffer, dNTPs (including dUTP for optional uracil-N-glycosylase treatment), and ROX (passive reference dye).
† QuantiTect RT Mix contains an optimized mixture of Omniscript and Sensiscript Reverse Transcriptases.

The QuantiTect Probe RT-PCR Kit contains a combination of Sensiscript and Omniscript Reverse Transcriptases. The combination of both of these high-affinity reverse transcriptases ensures highly efficient and sensitive reverse transcription over a wide range of template amounts, starting from as little as 1 pg RNA per reaction. Compared with other real-time RT-PCR kits that use sequence-specific probes, the QuantiTect Probe RT-PCR Kit provides significantly higher sensitivity for accurate real-time quantification (see figure "Highly Sensitive Quantification Using the QuantiTect Probe RT-PCR Kit").
