For sensitive detection of proteins expressed from the pQE-100 DoubleTag Vector
| Detection: | Proteins with the TagĦ¤100 |
| Sensitivity in ELISA:* | 1¨C5 ng/ml |
| Isotype: | Mouse IgG1 |
| Cross-reactivity: | High concentrations of proteins with metal-binding motifs, e.g., the 31 kDa molecularweight standard bovine carbonic anhydrase, a metalloenzyme binding 1 molecule of zinc per molecule of protein |
| Form: | Lyophilized |
| Working solution: | 1000-2500 ml |
* Detection using HRP-conjugated secondary antibody and OPD substrate. Sensitivity may vary with different proteins.
The TagĦ¤100 Antibody detects proteins expressed from the pQE-100 DoubleTag Vector. These proteins contain an N-terminal 6xHis tag and a C-terminal TagĦ¤100 that allow oriented binding of the protein to Ni-NTA HisSorb Plates or Ni-NTA Magnetic Beads via their 6xHis tags, and detection of the well-exposed TagĦ¤100 using the TagĦ¤100 Antibody (see figure "ELISA using Ni-NTA HisSorb Strips and TagĦ¤100 Antibody"). This system is ideal for ELISA procedures, for example for drug screening or accurate protein quantitation.
