BioRobot RapidPlate

The BioRobot RapidPlate pipetting workstation is designed for fast and accurate liquid handling in 96- and 384-well formats. The stationary 96-channel pipetting head is used with 100 µl or 200 µl disposable tips and ensures accurate tip positioning and precision pipetting. The system can be used either as a stand-alone liquid transfer workstation or can be integrated with a BioRobot 3000 system.

Principle

Integrated with a BioRobot 3000 workstation, the BioRobot RapidPlate increases throughput capacity by accelerating liquid-handling tasks. Dedicated syringe drivers for each pipetting channel reduce well-to-well variability and ensure reproducible results. Capabilities include liquid transfer, liquid dispensing from a reservoir, and reformatting in 96- and 384-well formats.
