The QIAsoft Operating System is easy-to-use yet powerful software for operating BioRobot Systems. Clear and intuitive displays guide the operator through all protocol steps. Simple on-screen prompts and point-and-click menus eliminate the need to learn complex computer languages or command structures. Simply select the required protocol and start the application. Customized protocols can easily be created by clicking command icons. Processing parameters are adjustable, allowing the creation of protocols that are as simple, or complex, as is necessary. Context-sensitive help is available for every protocol step. QIAsoft software is a part of the complete process-documentation system which identifies, tracks, and reports the progress of each sample throughout the entire protocol run. All data can be automatically archived in compliance with GLP requirements. Easy-to-use spreadsheet functions allow effortless data exchange with other laboratory instruments. A special version of the QIAsoft Operating System has been designed specifically for use in the molecular diagnostic environment and provides certified protocols for use with QIAamp purification technology.
