QIAvac 6S provides all manifold components for processing QIAGEN 8-well strips. Up to six 8-well strips fit in the QIAvac 6S top plate, allowing up to 48 samples to be handled in parallel. Alternatively, up to six QIAvac Luer Adapters (available separately) can be inserted into the QIAvac 6S top plate allowing convenient processing of up to 24 spin columns in parallel. QIAprep and QIAquick spin columns fit directly into the Luer Adapters, while QIAamp spin columns are used with QIAvac Luer Adapters plus VacConnectors. QIAprecipitator modules included in HiSpeed Plasmid Kits can also be processed using QIAvac Luer Adapters plus VacConnectors. The versatile QIAvac base holds additional modules, a waste tray, or collection microtubes, allowing convenient in-line sample processing. A number of convenient design features of QIAvac 6S, such as wide foam gaskets, a flip-up lid, and a spring lock, ensure a tight seal and easy handling. QIAvac blanks are provided for sealing unused slots and store neatly under the manifold base when not in use.
