Aims
and Scops
Cell Research, a journal devoted to the publication of
the novel results in different areas of animal and plant cell
biology and to the promotion of scientific exchange between
China and all other parts of the world, founded by Shanghai
Institute of Cell Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1990
and sponsored by Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology,
Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy
of Sciences from 2002.
About
the journal
As one of core journals of Chinese academic periodical, Cell Research is
selected into the China Journal Array including 1000 important journals
approved by National Journalism Administration of China and granted by the
Publishing Foundation of Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is indexed in many
world-known libraries and Index systems such as the Index Medicus,
MEDLINE on MEDLARS system, BIOSIS database, as well as Science Citation Index
Expandedtm-available as SciSearchtm
on Dialog and ISI Web of Science on the Internet-research Alert also available
in Chinese Science Citation Index, ChinaInfor(CD & Web) and Chinese
Academic Journal(CD & Web)etc. An electronic version with full text of
papers published from 1999 Vol 9(1) is online at http://www.cell-research.com,
and it is linked with PubMed on MEDLINE. Articles published in the journal can
be regularly announced to the international library and bioscience communities.
Article
types
Original articles: reporting original research findings, either describe novel
Molecular and cellular processes and events or address biological mechanisms. Short/Rapid
communications: reporting novel methods or findings that have immediate
major impact on current biomedical research. Such studies may be too
preliminary for a regular article. Reviews/Commentaries: reviewing or
presenting current progresses in any fields covered by the journal based on
authors' work.
All types of papers will be reviewed by at least two experts in the field;
Short/Rapid communications will be accepted only after at least two
editors'agree on their importance and urgency; Reviews should be invited in
advance by the Editor-in-Chief.

diskette(3' 5 floppy disk or CD) or attachment file by e-mail, should be
submitted either to the Editorial Office in Shanghai or Regional Editors near
