2007年最佳雇主排名生物类

　　生物通报道：《财富》杂志2007年“100家最佳就业企业”排名新鲜出炉，其中排名第一是谷歌（Google），排名第二的是美国知名的生物技术公司Genentech（基因科技有限公司）。这一项排名主要根据是对各企业的政策和文化的评估，以及公司员工对公司的看法这两项标准来进行评估的。

Genentech美国历史最久的生物技术公司之一，成立于20世纪80年代。当时正是生物技术产业兴起的时刻，像Biogen，Amgen和Immunex这样的公司先后成立。凭借着群司珠单抗（trastuzumab，Herceptin）、贝伐单抗（bevacizumab，Avastin）和埃罗替尼erlotinib（Tarceva）在2005年全球最大的肿瘤治疗学盛会－－美国临床肿瘤学协会 (ASCO)第41届年会上出尽风头。所有这些产品直指导致癌症的细胞基因缺陷，并经过大型的、严格的临床研究测试。

这家总部设在旧金山南部的企业2005年年收入为66.33亿美元，目前拥有员工9979名，薪酬水平（年薪）为：

Genentech有自己的研发管理方法。比如一年1次或2次，雇员要向一个由13名博士组成的委员会Research Review Committee 解释自己的工作。然后这13位评委决定如何分配研究预算。在医药技术领域，行业现象是，每种新药的平均成本是8亿美元，耗时最长可能达到12年，其中超过90%在临床试验中就被刷下来。所以很多大公司长久没有新药物推出。很多公司用仿造方法，搞些无创新的药物，把大力气花在市场上。而Genentech 的态度是使用市场数据和投资回报分析来驱动开发被严格禁止。他们认为对目标领域的基础研究进行足够投入，开发出多种药物，只要公司做了正确的事，销售自然会上升。正是这种长期的，高风险研究让Genentech的员工们自豪。这家公司在纽约证交所上市，代码是：DNA。

在前50名中，排名40是Amgen公司，这家成立于1980年，总部位于加州的生物公司最早名为AMGen(Applied Molecular Genetics)，是以分子生物学技术为基础研究开发药物的公司。在1989年，其首个药物EPOGEN上市。目前共有员工1.43万，在加拿大，欧洲，澳洲和亚洲都有分支机构。2004年总收入为105.5亿美元，来自美国国内的收入约80％，市值约757亿美元。第51名是Genzyme公司，成立于1981年，公司总部位于美国马萨诸塞州的波士顿剑桥地区，是一家 致力于为医疗领域提供创新产品与服务的生物技术公司。专业研究涵盖细胞、基因和蛋白质 治疗，新医药开发、治疗用生物材料，诊断学、遗传学等多个领域。
