如果说21世纪是干细胞的世纪,那么干细胞领域中最璀璨的明星莫过于“iPS”技术。往体细胞中导入KLF4、OCT4、SOX2和C-MYC四种基因,即可将正常体细胞转化成多能干细胞(iPS细胞)。
iPS出现短短2年,已经向多元化方向发展。本期的Nature从多能性(proving pluripotency)、安全性(safer iPS)以及疾病型iPS细胞(Making Human disease cells)三个方面解析iPS最近进展。
