PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute marketing strategy in China to drive and support business growth.
• Conduct market research efforts and define the growth opportunities and market trends.
• Understand competitive dynamics and customer needs
• Take overall responsibility for the implementation of marketing programs and activities in China. This includes:
• Develop and execute local marketing plan as well as implement global programs
• Effectively engage KOLs and work with professional association to deliver marketing events.
• Measure and evaluate online and offline marketing programs. Implement corrective actions to ensure delivery of targeted results & objectives.
• Lead all CRM related aspects of sales & marketing integration (CRM and reporting).
• Manage marketing budget in conjunction with campaign architect
• Responsible for local product management, including:
• Lead local product launches and provide effective local training to sales and distributors.
• Have in-depth technical product and application discussions to deliver local needs for new product development in partnership with sales and Field Application champions.
• Serve as single point of contact and represents the China Pathology team for the product marketing team’s requests.

Qualifications

The candidate should possess the following critical skills to be successful in the role:

• At least 4-year experience in sales and/or marketing within Pathology business.
• Intimate knowledge of the Pathology technologies within, research and clinical marketspace within China.
• Excellent communication skills (written / oral) and fluency in English.
• Must have a proven ability to plan and execute; to think strategically and translate to tactics that can be implemented to drive customer preference and demand for Agilent’s pathology solutions.
• Demonstrated skills in teamwork, results-orientation and strong persistence to reach goals.
• Ability to travel locally and internationally ~ 30% of the time
• University education in Genomics/molecular biology/biochemistry/biology/pathology/medical science or comparable, MSc. or Ph.D. preferable.
• Preferably be located in Shanghai or Beijing.
