生物通报道：2006年The Scientist杂志3月刊公布了年度“博士后最佳工作场所”调查，见2006年博士后最佳工作场所调查之排名，在这一排名中北美前三甲分别是：旧金山the J. David Gladstones Institutes、弗雷德哈金森癌症研究中心(Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center)和美国环境保护局；非北美地区是瑞士巴塞耳Friedrich Miescher生物医学研究所(Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research,FMI)、英国剑桥MRC分子生物学实验室（MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology ）和挪威卑尔根大学（University of Bergen）。

其中The J. David Gladstone Institutes从05年的12名一跃到第一主要是因为这一研究院非常注重博士后的需求，像优厚的薪酬、职工福利、导师，以及职业和专业发展等。在这各种影响因素中，排名如下：

以上这些数据由The Scientist杂志对北美地区及非北美地区各机构博士后进行调查得到的统计，而在国内，有博士后流动站的大学不少（生物学类30个），然而在许多情况下要不就是各博士，博士后流动站之间“近亲繁殖”，要不就是博士对于博士后流动站的了解不足导致错误入站（比如前段时间接连发生的青年科学家自杀事件影响因素），所以随着国内生物科学的发展，增强交流，增加了解也是非常重要的。因此生物通人才市场就此对国内博士后工作场所进行网调，希望能提供更多信息以供交流。（生物通：张迪）
