Alpha Innotech公司近日宣布已经与通用电气医疗集团（GE Healthcare）签订了五年期的战略供应商联盟协议。这项协议是2005年4月两家公司签订的OEM协议的延伸及扩展。
Alpha Innotech said today it has signed a five-year agreement to develop, manufacture, and supply imaging systems to GE Healthcare.
The pact, which Alpha Innotech said covers “a full line of proprietary imaging systems,” continues and expands an OEM agreement the two companies struck in 2005. The products will be sold worldwide exclusively under GE’s brand, Alpha Innotech said.
San Leandro, Calif.-based Alpha Innotech said it aims to combine bioinformatics software, reagents, and tools for the functional genomics, proteomics, and cell analysis markets.
“Combining GE Healthcare’s worldwide reach and expertise in biological applications with Alpha Innotech’s expertise in imaging technologies will provide researchers with completely integrated products for their research,” Sia Ghazvini, VP for marketing and business development at Alpha Innotech, said in a statement.
