Soil-borne pathogens like Fusarium oxysporum and Sclerotium rolfsii threaten chickpea production. This study screened 21 Trichoderma isolates for protease and chitinase activities, identifying four potent strains (e.g., T. harzianum PBT13).温室及田间试验 showed combining PBT13 with biochar reduced disease incidence by 95.95–97.10%, enhanced defense enzymes (CAT, POD, PAL), improved germination, chlorophyll content, and Trichoderma survival. This integrated approach offers a sustainable alternative to chemical fungicides.
