The study investigates the optimization of color, lignin, and total phenol removal from pulp and paper wastewater using immobilized laccase from Trametes versicolor on titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2 NPs) via a Taguchi L9 orthogonal array design. Key factors—catalyst concentration, pH, temperature, and reaction time—were analyzed, revealing time as the most impactful parameter. Immobilized laccase achieved 94.01% color removal, 95.45% lignin removal, and 94.25% total phenol removal, significantly outperforming free laccase (64.46%, 58.32%, 52.65% respectively). Regression models (R2: 94.41–98.23%) and ANOVA validated statistical significance, confirming Taguchi's effectiveness in optimizing biocatalytic wastewater treatment.分隔符
